Is there a way to give ownership of a Yahoo! group to someone else?

My friend dosen't want to be in charge of her group anymore, and she wants to know if there is a way to give it to someone else.

  1. If you’re the group owner, you must first appoint another owner before you can leave the group. This policy is enforced so that groups are not left without an owner.

    To make another member the group owner:

    1. Go to the Members area of your group

    2. Click the Edit Membership link next to the member you want to promote.

    3. Click the Change to Owner link.

    4. Confirm your change by clicking the Make Owner button.

    If you wish, you can leave the group at this time.

    If you choose not to transition your group to another owner, you may delete the group entirely.
