I have this really awesome idea for a MasterCard-Priceless commercial, that I would love to see on TV one day....

I was wondering if there is any way I can actually give my idea to the people at MasterCard.....

(You know the one's I'm talking about:

Doing This.... ($x*x)

Doing That....($x*x)

Doing this other thing.... (Priceless!)

There are things in life money can buy, for everything else, there's MasterCard....)

  1. they don't accept consumer suggestions. they pay high priced ad execs for ideas. but you could get attention by making your own amateur video and posting it online. check this link for some video sites that will pay you to post videos

  2. I have attached a link to an article that shows there was a contest to do your own Master Card ads but it has expired. Joyce King Thomas, chief creative officer of longtime MasterCard ad agency McCann Erickson might be someone you try to contact to pitch your idea.Google her and you will find plenty of information about her.

  3. If you are going to do your own video and post it somewhere, I would advise you not to use the word "mastercard" anywhere in it, (make up your own card name) or they might come after you with a team of lawyers for copyright infringement.

  4. Yes, you can do that.  Mastercard will either pay you for your idea  or ask if you would be interested in being in the actual advertisement.  Call any Customer Service number  (there is one on the back of your card).
