Is there a way to have a specific number that calls your cell phone go directly into voice mail?

Interested in setting up a cell phone that when a specific number calls me, instead of having to answer it, have it go directly into voice mail without having to let it ring?

depends on the phone and carrier. i had an older phone that i could block numbers with and it did that. it acts like the phone is off so it goes right to voicemail. there may be other featuers i don't know about you should call customer service. If some one is harrasing you it doesn't help much because they can leave voice mail messages. the carriers do let you change your number for free if you are being harrassed.

Some phones have an option called a rejection list. It would be under call settings if you have this option. You would simply add the number to the rejection list and the call wouldn't go through. Actually the caller just goes straight to voice mail.

If you do not have the rejection list, then assign a silent ringtone to the person. That way the person calls, you won't hear them calling. You can just ignore the call.
