Is there a way to have yahoo txt mssg me when an email from a specific address (not every) arrives?

I am looking for alternatives to stopping on the road and checking email 10 times a day checking for job orders...(company can't just direct txt mssg me and i have "bare minimum" mobile phone) any ideas would be welcome

Can you read email itself on your phone?  Yahoo Mail can forward selected mail to your phone.

On the Mail page, click on "Options" in the upper right corner, and then on "Filters".
