Is there a way to hit reply w/o having the previous message show up when posting on a yahoo group message?

When I go to my groups message page and hit reply to something that has already been said the old message is automattically inserted into my reply. Is there a way to make it so the old message does not appear automattically, instead of having to delete it?

no, it's default as far as I know. just high light the whole thing and delete it off before typing into the reply box
