Is there a way to hook up a DVD Player to my Directv box so i can record TV shows?

  1. Using RF jack Cable, on the back of  your satellite receiver find a jack that says "out to TV" plug a cable into it and go to your DVD and plug into "in from Ant.". Now go from DVD "out to TV" to "in from Ant." ------- This will only if you have a DVD Player & RECORDER. If you have just a DVD Player there is no way to Record with it. You could use a VCR, but it is not as good.
