  1. Easy!!  Get the Video Xpress - USBAV-191.

    It will take the audio outs and video out from your VCR to a USB input on your Laptop.   And it comes with software if you have none.  Works great and is easy to use.  

    Also, check out the DVD Xpress DX2  on the same web site.  But they are basically the same thing.  Good luck.
