Is there a way to keep cats away from my house?

Question

i have a big dog and he have gotten into bad fights with some cats that they dont have owners

so when i let my outside sometimes there are some cats inside my yards so he fights with them and sometimes kill them

so il aprecciate it if u can help me thank you :)

Try fresh Rosemary.  

The oils apparently drive cats nuts!  You could even try to grind or blend some into a spray and spray that around your yard.  See the link below for more information.

One thing you could try is Coyote Urine (or other predator urine).

It may upset your dog though in the process.  It can be purchased at a hunting shop or a local hardware store (usually in Lawn and Garden).  Just squeeze a few drops onto cotton balls and put them around the outside of your property.  Stray cats will smell them and think a coyote is nearby.
