Is there a way to kill ants with what you only have in your home?

we got ants in our house and did not have any ant spray what would i or you do

ants hate pepper. red pepper or black pepper works to deter them. if you want them dead,  try spraying them with cleaning agents (windex, 409, etc.) if you just want to keep them away, try the pepper. peppermint also works, so if you have a stick of gum, try putting that around. white chalk line they won't cross either. you can also try a clove of garlic. good luck!

For ants, we've used any kind of disinfectant. Or liquid soap. It may have to be repeated a few times but it seems to work. It deprives the ant of breathing (through the skin).
