Is there a way to kill skunks without them spraying?

My neighbor feeds skunk and a bunch of other wildlife, so we have an over population of skunks and have been trapping them but when we shoot them they spray and it smells REALLY REALLY BAD. is there a way to kill skunks without them spraying?

Obviously you people who think it's terrible to kill skunks have not had to deal with there disgusting odor on a daily basis. Im so sick of it. I wouldn't shed a tear to never see or smell another skunk in my life. We are going to start shooting them around here, hopefully not real close to the house. We live on a farm so we have no neighbors to worry about.
