Is there a way to know how many people have read your message when you post a message in a group?

I am a member of several yahoo groups. I do post messages on variety of topis. I want to kone how amny people are really reading them

you'd never be able to know this. besides not knowing via the group, there's no way to know of those members on invidiual mail, who reads anything and which just delete incoming posts.

No, there is no way you can know. If the owner wishes he could put a hit counter on the site but that would only show how many visiters to the site, not how many  have read your post.
