Is there a way to mail a package and have the recipient pick it up from post office?

I need this package to be picked up in stead of been delivered to the recipient's hosue.

If you send if certified I know they have to sign for it. I do think they take it to the house to have them sign it. If they aren't home then they will have to go to the post office and get it. You could ask the post office.
