Is there a way to maintain the value of a modular home over a period of years?

Or are all modular homes just going to deplete in value after so long regardless of the condition? Are there things you can do to increase the value like you would with a brick home?

  1. For the most part, mobile homes devalue like an automobile.  You may be able to slow the decline by keeping it well repaired, painted, etc., but given the state of the total housing market, it will be tough.


  2. .   You specifically used the word "modular" which means that this is a house , not a mobile home.   I had some friends stucco the exterior of their modular.  It looked like a custom home.  Add a garage and driveway.
