My friend told me there was away a long time ago, but I never followed up on it. He said, " there was a 1800 number you had to do it with." Kinda like 1800-free-411. Thanks!

  1. there used to be others out there.. but the only one I am aware of right now is plumble.com which is in alpha testing right now...

if the area code is local to you you can call 818-742-0110 and make free calls.. i think even free international...

the number is located in CA. it is ad supported.. you listen to an ad then can complete your call... not sure how long the calls are limited to

    EDIT

you can also use the click to call feature in grandcentral.. just add the number you want to call to your address book in grandcentral, then use the click to call feature and it will call your phone then the person you want to call and connect you together... you just need to be in front of a PC or web cell phone to start the call (by clicking the link on grandcentral) but thats it..

  2. No.  Open the purse strings a little, dude.

  3. Nope, such a service does not exist.

You can only make voip-voip calls for free. Land lines are leased.

Any of those 1010220 or 1010311 services that claim that are free are actually routing your call through voip and charging a pretty penny for it too...

  4. yes call collect lol
