Question:

Is there a way to make a twin bed connector?

I live in a dorm room by myself and I like to connect my twin beds. Last year, I could barely stand the crack in the middle. I have tried to look up those connectors you use to put two twin beds together but everything that pops up is pretty expensive for me. Is there a way I can make a connector? I have a king size mattress pad to cover the bed and it does not help at all with the crack in the middle. Thanks for any advice!

  1. Turn frames so that space gos across (left to right) instead of top to bottom then lay mattress on them

  2. Try this:

    1) Cut a rectangular piece of board so it is the same length as your bed, and the width reaches from the floor to about 2 inches below the mattress level.

    2) Roll dense fabric into a tube, and stuff it between the two mattresses, so it rests on top of the board.

    3) Put a layer of foam rubber across both mattresses, followed by a large mattress pad, and finally a sheet.

You'll probably detect the part between the mattresses, but at least it will soft and support your weight.
