  1. If your Kenwood system is a home theatre system, then there are cables that you can get (radioshack, online stores, etc) that are headphone connector (1/8th inch) to RCA (red and white connectors). You'd connect the headphone side to your ipod and the RCA red/white to your audio input on your sound system.

If your Kenwood system is an in-dash automobile radio, then you'd have to check the specs of your radio. Some of the in-dash players have audio inputs on the back of them, inside the dash. What you can do, is run one of those cables I mentioned above (1/8th inch to RCA) from say your glove compartment, to the back of the in-dash player. There are other ways to run the cable, but I'd have to know the make/model of your car.

The headphone jack your are speaking of is most likely an audio output, not input. I don't believe that 1/8th inch to 1/8th inch would work in this case, you'd have to check the specs on your deck to see if this is an output.

  2. Places like Radioshack, Circuitcity and Best Buy sell the kind of cable that you need. Apple and other companies make a dock that you can use to connect your ipod to your stereo.

  3. As long as it's an aux port and not a headphone jack (chances are it's an aux port) all you need is a simple 1/8" mini jack to 1/8" mini jack patch cable. You do have other options for connecting your iPod to your car stereo, there is a good article about it at the Apple Mentor Website.
