Question:

Is there a way to make ink permanent on a shirt?

After she was born last week, my daughter's footprints were placed on my white t-shirt using the same ink they use to get her footprints for her records. I'm obviously not going to wash it, but I want to prevent it from fading. Is there anything I can do to make it more permanent and protect it?

  1. I've never heard of a product that will make ink last longer on the shirt.  But, if you are worried about this fading, I would buy some fabric paint and make your own shirt, then you would be able to wear it or store it without worrying how long it will last.

  2. i have no idea

try ur best to not let it fade away

congratulations on your bundle of joy

    great idea too!!

  3. I'd check with a crafts store to see if there some kind of fixative that you can use.   I think the footprints on the t-shirt is a neat idea!!

    Congratulations!!
