  1. make sure the lint sheild is clean.  If it's clogged up the dryer can't breathe and it takes longer to dry.  And don't try to do huge loads of clothes at once.  Split them up and do 2 smaller loads.  And adjust the setting on the washing machine to the least amount of time.  Although they may not be getting as clean that way...

  2. Have the dryer vent cleaned it will help with long times to dry!

  3. If you machine wash your clothing.  Run them through an extra SPIN CYCLE to wick away extra moisture.... If you machine dry your clothing make sure that you don't have the dryer overoaded!  It will just take longer.... Also, toss a dry towel in with your laundry to absorb extra moisture.

If you hang your items to dry get a fan to circulate air and dry them faster....

  4. Wash (in cold water) and dry them on the shortest cycle, unless they're REALLY dirty. This will save you quite a bit of time per load--as well as water, and electricity. Sometimes I'll let my things finish drying on a little wooden rack or in the bathroom. This is good especially on your dainties--keeps from spoiling the fabric and elastic .

  5. adjust timer on your machine if equipped !

  6. Wash smaller loads... they get cleaner and dry faster.
