Is there a way to make my pool table run faster?

the pool balls roll pretty slow now. is there a way to refurbish the cloth so i don't have to buy new cloth?

You need to go to a pool table supply store and buy a nap brush.You use it to brush the cloth and restore the nap

Brush the table as good as possible and make sure the balls are clean. Other than that, not much you can do. When you do recover the table use a good cloth like simonis and you won't have any nap problems.

A good brushing may help,but once its worn out theres not much hope for it

A Quality cloth will last far longer

Make sure the balls are clean, if they're dirty it will create more friction with the felt.
