Is there a way to mount a flatscreen tv sideways?

Question

My boss wants to mount a flat screen TV lengthwise and change the orientation of the picture and use this for a slide show display.

Does anyone know if this is possible??

its possible but this would be using the tv as a monitor hooked up to a computer, there is nothing in the tv itself that will rotate the image. You would need slideshow software and rotate each picture sideways so when its displayed on the sideways tv it will look right.

Of course it is possible, but unless you get a professional display which was designed to go either way, your speakers may be up and down, the Logo may look wrong, etc.
