  1. yes there is a way to do it no matter how many people say otherwise.

    1. glasses act as a cast.  when you break your leg, you get a cast to help it heal and then you get off it and let your leg recover on its own.  glasses should work the same way.  wear it for about 2 months and get off it.  my friend did this unintentionally and his eyesight fully recovered.

    2. never wear contact lenses, the direct contact with your eyes is very bad for their health.

    3. THE BEST WAY TO IMPROVE EYESIGHT is with the snellen chart.  this is that chart that doctors make you read when examining your vision.  there is a method to stretching your eyes and focusing on the chart without strain to improve eyesight.  Here is a free website: http://www.seeingwithoutglasses.net/swg/...

This site is long, but detailed in info.  look up improving your vision using a snellen chart on the internet.

    4. The girl above me also has a good answer.

  2. im not sure if it works but i heard of a theory that if you eat CARROTS alot or ocassionally your eyesite can get stronger.

  3. I agree with what footprintz said above.

To expand on what xero said:  Vitamin A, which is contained in carrots and other vegetables, is an essential fat-soluble vitamin.  It is important in many bodily processes, one of which is vision.  One form of Vitamin A undergoes a chemical reaction in retinal cells when light enters the eye, resulting in a nerve impulse that is necessary for vision.  A deficiency of Vitamin A is bad, but taking a lot of it doesn't improve vision.  In fact, a large excess of Vitamin A (as with a large excess of pretty much anything) can be harmful.  Evidence has shown that in certain non-smoking patients with age-related macular degeneration, supplementation with a particular mixture of vitamins can slow down the progression of the disease.

  4. Always has to be one to bring up the silly carrots myth....lol

Sorry....there is nothing than can be done to reduce the correction you need, short of laser surgery.

Nature , and your DNA has decided your eyes are going to be like that.

Vitamins of any kind cannot change the shape of your eye.

The carrot thing is true only if you have a vitamin A deficiancy to begin with, which is very uncommon among healthy people.

That is seen in third world countries. Even then , it doesn't reverse or slow your visual problem , except for better night vision. Because if you are lacking vitamin A, your night vision will be horrible. It is vitamins for the " light receptors"...not to cure your vision.

Even then...multi vitamin pills are a better source for vitamin A...and don't turn your skin orange.

  6. yes there is my mom told me about this it has something to do with tapping your head some way

the carrot myth is true but is for night vison

  7. I don't think so - I wish. I think any kind of exercise you would do would end up straining your eyes, and thus only making them worse.
