Is there a way to password protect an application?

I want to know if I can password protect one of applications called ventrilo so when I start up the program it asks for a password. If there is a free way to do this I would like to know how. Need Help quick!

remove permissions to the directory with the app-

add a user to the management console and add it as the only user

unless you are in a network you cant password block it, and even  then only thew administrator can do it.

Right click on the EXE file, go to properties.  Click on the security tab.  Give every user Deny Full Control.  Then just enable it back when you want to use it.
