Is there a way to preserve salsa?

yeah freezing is it, you can get REALLY sick off some bad salsa.

put it in a glass/plastic container and refrigerate it..I would throw it out after about a week, though...

You can transfer the salsa from the glass jar to a plastic container and freeze it.  

I don't know what else you mean by "preserving salsa."
