Is there a way to put a dvd onto your ipod?

instead of buying the same thing on itunes... cuz it seems pointless to just buy it again when you already have it...so if anyone knows how to do this then please please please help! thankkkks(: (: (:

Are you talking about a CD or a DVD. you can put a Cd of music on your IPOD only if you purchased the CD, but you have to copy it to a file using Media Player then copy the MP3 file to you IPOD. A DVD contains Movies which are about 4.8 gigs and will not fit on you IPOD

iPod can only support mpeg4 video. download it from a torrent or something, there should be an ipod format of it somewhere. if not, just download it and convert it to mp4, thats the quicktime format
