  1. Use the super puddy product being advertised recently by the man who shouts loudly at you on TV.  It can apparently support 250 pounds of weight.

  2. I doubt the glass will hold a shelf. If it is glued on it may pull away from the wall. I would drill through the glass and install wall anchors made for drywall. Anchor your shelf supports to them over the glass. Go to Drill Glass. Com  The site has instructions for drilling through glass and also has the bits needed to do the job.

  3. With a good epoxy that is formulated for smooth glass surfaces and the proper angle supports

  4. First off, it's a SHELF.  Shelves is the plural form.

The only thing that will stick and hold up something on glass is silicon caulk.  Buy GE Silicon I not II, the II is for caulking joints but the I (One) holds fish tanks together.  Buy CLEAR.

Using the tube in a caulking gun, attach your brackets, be neat.  Tape them in place for 24 hours.   Remove tape, attach shelf.   Clean any excess with a single razor blade.
