I have a Freewebs site and I downloaded phpBB and so is there any way to do it, if so please tell me.

I may upgrade to a real site one day, so if there's not, could you please tell me how to do that with a real website?

Thanks!

  1. If you’re going to create a forum site at your own domain without any forced ads, you need a web host providing forum tools (phpbb or vbulletin).

One of these services is reachable at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . Their service is really great and easy to use.

  2. Try this website:  www.forumwise.com

You can start your own FREE forum there.  I ran one for the longest, until I just ran out of time to keep it going.  It's a good FREE forum website.

  3. You cannot run phpBB on Freewebs.

You can run phpBB on a free Linux / MySQL host, such as the ones listed here:

If you just want a forum, use http://www.invisionfree.com and link to it from your Freewebs site.
