we just bought it a few months ago..and now these things are occuring:

-takes forever to turn off

-the games are saying we have to redownload them and says there's an error when trying to play them

-when trying to play songs the ipod seems to freeze

doesnt seem to be a reset button like on other mp3 players where you insert a pen or something...any ideas?? :(

  1. hold down the MENU button till the power turns off NOT THE PLAY button

  2. try this    1.  Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

       2. Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

if not try to reset it to factory settings from itunes but i think the music will be erased

  3. i recommed u go to the place you bought it at. go to their comstumer service. i have one too it was working so slow and didnt open games or music. i went to costumer service and they reset it for me .. i bought it at best buy. if where you bought it doesnt do that, simply tell them to replace it like if u got encurance on it u just pay a small fee and they give u a new one if they cant fix ur current one.

Good Luck. Mine Works great now. Hope urs will too.
