I'm bipolar, and lately I've taken to drinking alcohol every night to calm my anxiety and help me sleep. I've also been using benzos like Xanax and Ativan (I had an addiction to benzos previously) and occasionally Vicodin. I've been taking way too much of my prescribed Adderall just to get through work, and I've flirted with the idea of trying Ecstasy or Heroin as well. My behavior and thoughts are scaring the h**l out of me, and I want to try to nip this in the bud. Still, I feel like I need something besides my prescribed Effexor and Zyprexa to help me get 'out of my head,' you know? Is there a general amount of cardiovascular exercise that one must do to release endorphins?
