Is there a way to reduce wrinkling when doing laundry? Does water/dryer temperatures make a difference?

Especially with blue jeans! Does it matter what temperature you wash and dry them on where wrinkles are concerned?

Would adding extra dryer sheets reduce wrinkling, or would that just waste product?

  1. You really don't need the extra dryer sheet. One is enough. Yhe most common causes is overloading your maching, not gving the tumble freedom clothes need. Water can make a difference with some materal (polyester and othrr synthetic fabric). you need to use the perma press cycle fo ror these, so the can cool down correctly emliminating the wrinkels. They must all be removed promptly when done, and put away. If following these drections, then you still get some wrinles. My answer: Take a large spray bottle, fill with water then add a tablespon of liquid fbric softener. Simply spray the wrinkles our, shake your item, and afer you dress, you will be smooth and nice.Be sure to shakem well after mixing, then again befor each use. It works awesome!  hope this helps with your problems.

  2. Your washer or dryer might have a wrinkle free setting that would help. Or taking your clothes out of the washer and straight to the dryer right away and then folding them right away after drying might help..Leaving them in the dryer for long will wrinkle them faster..

  3. when u pull the clothes out of the washing machine

    shake them out!

then out them in the dryer

  4. No, water temperature won't make a difference. Most of my clothes, I dry for a few minutes in the dryer, then hang up while still damp either on hangers or on a drying rack. If you use the dryer, make sure to pull things out and fold or hang as soon as they are dry. I don't use dryer sheets at all (except in winter for static) and have almost no wrinkled clothes.

  5. If you take the clothes out while they are still hot and fold them then you can smooth most of the wrinkles out.  I dry my jeans on medium to high for 30-40 minutes then fold them hot and have no wrinkles at all.
