That comes on a brand name computer? I just bought a new HP computer. And it has so much crapware on it. It's ridiculous. I used the add remove options and Ccleaner. But I'm still finding fragments around of all the junk. Is there other programs available that will find it all and delete it?

  1. What I did with my HP computer was borrow a Vista DVD, format the drive, and install a fresh copy of the version of Vista that came with my computer (Home Premium in my case) and I used my serial number.

Bingo, fresh Vista install with no HP c**p slowing it down!

  2. You can just remove each program one at a time though there are so many programs that you really should just start fresh with a clean re-install.

  3. The only way I know of to get rid of it all is to either have an actual windows disk and install a fresh copy of windows or just manually delete everything one by one.

  4. The best way is to borrow a copy of the same Operating system that is on your new computer, and reinstall it fresh on your computer, using the key that is on the tag stuck to the side of your computer.

This way you still have a completely legal copy of the Operating system, with only the bare Operating system, and any programs you choose to install.

  5. Fresh install ftw. Don't cry and reinstall, it'll be better for you in the long run. Make sure when you reinstall partition your drive so that you can reinstall when you get a lot of spyware easier.
