Is there a way to remove marker from the mesh part of a playpen?

My two year old drew on the side of his sister's playpen with a purple crayola marker..how can I get it out?

Try using baby wipes

Try some rubbing alcohol, then rinse well.=)

if the side of it is plastic try comet cleaning product,

or if its net/cloth, try carpet cleaner that might work if you scrub it
