  1. I wish we could replace gas with water. Life would be great if we could do that.

  2. some cars can be converted to ethanol or diesel for a costly fee

  3. I think the future SHOULD be hydrogen fuel cells (which is not that HHO / brown gas scam).

Hydrogen fuel cells emit no global warming gas, no pollutant, just water vapor - you can actually breath the exhaust vapor and it would be like getting a steam facial - good for you.

Then get wind power, solar power, or even nuclear power to produce hydrogen from water (Norway is doing this already).

Most cars have a life span of 10 to 15 years. So every car we sell now will be gone is 15 years anyway. So it is NOT like we have to REPLACE current cars.  We just have to gradually move over to hydrogen fuel cells every time we buy new cars.

    Good luck...

  4. If you have a diesel engine, filtered cooking oil or bio diesel would work. If you have a regual gasoline engine there are hydrogen kits for your car so it runs on hydrogen. They are expensive but the are efficient. Get a four cylinder, a hydrid or an electric vehicle.

  5. You have numerous choices:

    LPG - Propane

    LNG - Natural Gas

    Hydrogen - Fuel Cell

    Electricity -Battery/Solar

    Bio Fuel - Alcohol

    Diesel - Bio Fuel

All the alternatives come with a price. . .
