Is there a way to see the administrator's password and not change it?

Ok, so my brother changed the administrator(his account) password. I know how to change it using Command Prompt, but if I change it, he'll get mad. So I want to have administrative rights without him knowing. I can't download anything btw. And it has to be free.

  1. if we tell you, its illegal...  techincally its his account so why would we tell you how to hack into it. Thats the main reason people change their password so people like yourself can't get into it.

however there are ways. google is your friend. Look for password display programs, there are plenty around that will show you what is password is just by clicking on the password text box.

  2. oh, turn your computer off. turn it back on, press f8 the top buttons. a screen ill appear use the arrow keys and go to safemode, click enter. a whole bunch of letters will appear, wait and then a popup will appear once logged on, click ok or something like that. then find your way to control panel, user accounts, make a new account and select have administrative rights. the turn off and boot up again and use the account you just made.
