Is there a way to select only color pixels in photoshop?

I have a cool wallpaper, that I got off the internet, that I want to invert the colors of, but I only want the black and white to invert and not the colors, is a way to select only the black and white pixels and invert them and not the color pixels?

  1. 1. Select (menu) >> Color Range...

    2. Click on something XX.

    3. Click the eyedropper with + sign button in the Color Range dialog.

    4. Click on something x*x.

    2. Click on something black.

    3. Click the eyedropper with + sign button in the Color Range dialog.

    4. Click on something white.

    This will select all the black and white... then you can invert the selection only!
