Question:

Is there a way to send an email file to a removed member from my group?

Our groups have the ability to send file messages to members who are denied (not allowed to join) or banned. But once you approve a member and then later remove them, there is no option to send a file. We remove non-participatory members on an occasional basis and I want them to know that they were removed and why. I'd prefer to do this as a file, rather than having to send so many personal emails.

  1. On your group home page there is a place for files. You can put it there and just open it when you need to send it.

  2. there is the sending option 'Upon leaving group' which also is sent if you remove a member. This would be of a generic type file for the most part- what you could do is prior to removing a member if you're more wanting a personal file to them, create a text file for them, check to go to leaving members, save it- remove the member and then go back and delete that file.

I have a generic file for this purpose and those that need more of a personal note, I'd e-mail them directly. my generic file includes a few reasons why they may had been removed and to rejoin at any time.
