Chula do a wire transfer.  It's easy just tell the person in Panama to get you the wire info for his or her bank, and his or her bank account number.  Then you can tell your bank to wire the money to that account in Panama.

Depending on your bank it should take 1 to 3 days for the money to be credited on the account here in Panama.

Trust me, I do it all the time.

Your bank can arrange to send money directly to a bank in Panama via a wire transfer, but it is a flat fee that can be higher than Western Union for small (less than $500??) amounts.
