I need to sell several things that I definitely cannot carry to post office. I have no car near me, and post office is a far walk. I heard there is something where they will come to you to pick up the boxes and you can prepay for shipping or set up some kind of account. Does anybody have any experience with this? If u do please post on how it works.

  1. You can set up an account at FedEx, but they will charge you for pickup.

If your packages are mailable (under 70 pounds, no hazardous materials, etc.) and you have an accurate scale (not a bathroom scale, but one made for business), you can pay your postage online through "Click-n-Ship" at the USPS website, and the Post Office will pick it up at no charge when your regular carrier delivers your mail.  If you need a scheduled pickup (other than your regular carrier), they will charge you $14.75 per pickup (not per box).  You have to set up an account, but there's no charge for the account.  More info at:  https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/landing.do

  2. When you setup an account online, or over the phone there will be options to have a regularly scheduled pick up.  The frequency of those pick ups is up to you.... i.e... everyday, 2 times a week, 3times a week..etc..

  3. FedEx charges you.  Call them today. /

  4. yes you can...here is the link to sign up as a new customer...just set up the account by filling in your info and youre set
