Is there a way to shop for marbles?

Question

I live in India. I am building a house and am planning to put italian marble. the area comes to around 2000 sq ft or around 230 sq m. The marble dealers here quote a very high price for the imported marble. Is there a way I can order these marbles from italy or some other country where its cheap and ask them to ship it in some container or something so that i can recieve it in india? And would it end up to be cheaper that way?

the best way is to shop in chennai(near koyambedu area)

all other things, including shopping abroad will coast youa fortune as the shippment cost will be prohibitively high!)

and also your requireemnt is  only abt 2000 sq ft

I would suggest that you do a search for marble dealers, try it in different ways like online marble dealers, maybe even try ebay. I have to admit it will be a challenge to find cheaper prices when you add the shipping. Be careful and check them out good before purchasing. Good luck, I hope you find what you are looking for.
