Is there a way to smooth out paper?

The mailman rubberbanded this flat cardboard envelope that clearly said "DO NOT BEND" to my mailbox. Well, I could see as I was walking up to my mailbox the envelope was bent with the strain of the rubberband and it had 2 sheets of scrapbook paper in it I had ordered off ebay. Now the corners, about an inch from the edges, are curved...not like a crease from being folded, but curved and I can't straighten this out. I do not have time to reorder this. Please let me know if it is possible to iron out or smooth out paper.

  1. Iron it in a pillow case and on a low setting.  Don't use steam or too much heat, or the paper will curl.

  2. lay it in a flat surface   like  a  table, cover with cloth and put something  flat and  heavy on top and leave overnight and see what  happen  if not,....do  the  same  thing   but  iron  it  with  steam flat  iron  and  see.....still  have  to  lay  it  flat  with   something  heavy  on  top  overnight   flat  too.....................

  3. yea you can just iron it and it'll be flat again

  4. Iron it

  5. you can put it on the edge on of the table and rub it up and down........it will eventually smooth out!

  6. I have ironed paper before.  I would put a thin cloth over it so it doesn't scorch.  Then just iron like cloth, I would use the cotton or linen setting.  Just don't let the iron rest in any one space, keep it moving.

    Good Luck!
