Is there a way to solve for y .... ?

Question

if you have 1,460,000/y = 1 x y/1,460,000

I know its probably simple math but I forget these simple eqations

1,460,000/y = 1y/1,460,000

The 1,460,000s cancel each other out, so you have

1/y = 1y  Multiply "y"  by both sides to get rid of the fraction.

y(1/y) = y^2  becomes 1 = y^2

Take the square root both sides to clear the y^2. So, you end up with

+/- 1 = y
