Is there a way to stimulate another person's swallowing reflex?

Is there a way that one person can force another person to swallow? Like a physical touch to a certain part of the mouth/throat/body that will induce swallowing (palatal reflex)? I'm a writer and in one scene I have one character giving a pill to another character against their will. Thank you!

Rub their throat

Put the pill in and pinch the nose closed while holding the mouth and lips shut. He'll have to swallow the pill before he breathes in (you can also get an animal to take a pill the same way).
