Is there a way to stop skin from peeling after bad sunburn?

I got a terrible sunburn on the back of my legs about a week & a half ago which recently began to peel. =/ The experience is kind of grose & I was wondering if there were any remedies that one could do to stop their skin from peeling.

Note- I don't believe that it's sun poisoning. There weren't any blisters involved.

I'm not sure if there's a way to prevent the peeling, but you should definitely treat it with Aloe Vera. That helped my sunburn a lot.

Also, make sure to keep it covered and not expose it to any more sun and cause further damage.
