  1. Here's a good site that suggests glue for different purposes. You just type in the two things you want to glue together.

I'm not aware of any way of increasing a glue's strength by altering it in any way. If you dilute glue, it usually weakens it.

If you leave the cap off, it can thicken up a bit, but I don't think that increases the strength of it.

  2. i've never tried it but if you melt a glue stick?

it might work, and also try a hotglue gun

  3. just use that rubber stuff i forgot what its called but it works it is more durable then glue and more flexible

  4. Then you need to switch to silicone adhesives.  All are waterproof.  100% Silicone Adhesive from GE or DAP is pretty soft.  The various adhesives from GOOP have different thicknesses and are very firm when set.  E6000 is from the same company and is quite flowing (self leveling)

  5. Well, waterproof and "Elmers" white glue just don't go together !!  I'm curious as to what you define as "flexible" ?  Are you looking for actual bending, or just a minimal risk of cracking ?

One thing I used to do when building theater-flats (stage pieces) was to first coat the canvas / muslin with a diluted elmers (2 parts elmers to 1 part water to 1 part latex paint).

I'd really need a better idea of the USE and PURPOSE of what you want to do to make more refined suggestions.

    GOOD LUCK !!
