  1. The poor kitty is just hungry and wants some food. Before you go to bed, leave out a small bowl of kibbles for the cat to snack on during the night. Cats in the wild sleep during the day and hunt at night, eating many small meals. So while you are sleeping, the cat is starving.

  2. stop getting up and feeding him when he wakes you up.  push him off the bed EVERY time it happens or keep your door shut.

My kitties are almost 4 months old, I just spent a whole night in my bed for the first time last night, they still woke me up at 7. There's not much you can do, that's just how they are. I try and feed them dinner late in the evening and they play a lot right up until bedtime, tires them out so they'll sleep during the night now, but they still get up early.

My cats love waking me up by jumping on my head.

  4. How is it waking you?  By making noise or jumping on you?  l*****g & biting you?  Also how old is the cat and how long have you had it?

Simple answer:  Try sleeping with your door closed and the cat on the other side of it.

  5. We used a spray bottle with water.

  6. I bet you five dollars your cat is under 1 year old. If I am right once he matures around one year old he will stop. Cats are nocturnal creatures

they figure since they are up all night you should be as well. Once they get older they get used to the routine of the household and will stop bothering you. If he is over that age than maybe he wants to be fed and you should leave food out for him. Cats snack they don't sit down and gobble up all the food on the plate like a dog. So they basically eat like 12 little meals a day so it is best to have dry

food and fresh water available all the time.

  8. As most of the other respondents have mentioned, your cat is hungry.  I had this problem with my cat for years until recently.  What I did to resolve it was I used one of those automatic pet feeders which is on a timer. (Do a internet search on 'Automatic Pet Feeder') I set it to release my cat's food approximately half an hour before she normally wakes me.  It took her about a week to learn that the food was there waiting for her, but once she did the early morning wake up call stopped!
