  1. Just about all recorders have an earphone jack. This can be used to connect the recorder to a PC via "patch cord". This will plug into the LINE IN jack on your PC. Just be aware that using the earphone jack will cut off the recorder's speaker, so you will have to listen to the playback via the computer's speakers.

    Take the recorder to Radio Shack and they will sell you the right cord. The PC end is standard. You may also require a "Y" adapter to get the mono output of the recorder to properly input the stereo input jack of your PC.

    Expect to pay about $5 for each cord.
