Is there a way to transfer photos from an Ipod to your computer?

My old computer recently crashed and doesn't work anymore, anyway, I had all my photos on there and they are still on my Ipod. I sync. my music to my new library on my new computer, but can I get my old photos off my old Ipod somehow? I know when you sync. them they willl delete and I also want to put my new photos on it to. By the way its an 80 gb Ipod classic.

  1. Ah...I see you're starting to discover the limitations of the iPod.

    You cannot transfer files from an apple device to a computer. You may be able to do this through some third party software, but that would probably be a violation of the end user agreement and no one...does.....that...*cough cough.

  3. itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.
