Most of the sites mentioned here so far don't tell you what channels they have until you register,  or pay a one time fee to download a software.

I watch live TV with no registration required, and no need to download anything  here: http://mediahopper.com/ They have over 1600 real live TV channels (not videos) from all over the world.

A different concept, by the inventors of Skype, mixing hundreds of live TV and pre-recorded channels is JOOST (http://www.joost.com). You need to register and download a software, for free, but the quality is excellent.
