I was camping with 8 of my friends over the weekend, 9 including myself, 3 of them are 21 years old. But out of the 6 minors in the group only 2 of us got pinned for MIP. When the officer approached us he started questioning me first. I had no alcohol in my possession at the time. As a matter of fact i didn't bring any of the booze to the trip. The officer then asked for my ethnicity and social security number which i don't know if that was even right. And he never breathalyzed me to even begin with. Do i have a fighting chance? if you need anymore details please email thebled_obsession@yahoo.com

thank you.

  1. This is a misdemeanor offense, and if you are under 18 an attorney will be appointed to represent you in juvenile court.  If you are over 18 and you cannot afford counsel, one will be appointed.  Otherwise, hire an attorney.  Take that attorney's advise.  There may be a defense here, and if not there may be programs to help avoid a conviction.  You want to avoid a conviction, if possible, because conviction means a 1 year suspension of your driver's license (or a 1 year delay in getting it).  The punishment for the offense will not be great--the reason for a lawyer to to protect your license.

  2. Man please...Quit worryin about it.Just forget it ever happened...If the law was so worried about you bein a threat you would be in jail already...
