starch helps a little but hours later, our office uniform looks like a rag fresh out of the spin dryer.

  1. IRON!

  2. Eww - no, if spray starch will not do it, then it is a very bad fabric or you have dried it on too high a heat.  Some driers will wreck a cotton when they run too hot, but some cottons are just too fragile and never look right, either.  Linens are like that too - you iron them all nice, then they get vile looking in a few hours.  I am sorry it is your school uniform or I would throw it out. LOL  So perhaps they want it to look too bad to wear it two days in a row - sometimes that is the only way to get kids to wash their shirts when then stink!  No - seriously, I think they do not care and the wrinkly weaves are cheaper - just use more starch, maybe real starch instead of spray starch - have your older relatives show you how to use it and it will at least hold-out during the day (but it will itch.)

  3. iron your shirt while its still a little a little damp, just before it dires completely. And whatever you do dont put it in the tumble dryer as it dries the fabric too much & you will spend alot of time trying to get those creases out!

  4. I would use more concentrated fabric softener - then drip dry on a hanger rather than put in the spin dryer.

Spin drying creates creases/wrinkles which later can re-emerge - especially in humid conditions.

  5. get one of those steam irons or whatever the things they use at the malls when the shirts come out of the boxes
