There has to be a way to put music on your phone without having to pay $15 a month. Does a microSD card work if you put the music from the computer, onto the card, and putting it in the phone? I heard that all you have to do is reformat the microSD card inside the phone and from the computer, you can drag the songs in the microSD card into the "my music" folder. Can anybody clarify this? I'm getting the LG Dare. Does anybody know what song format that phone plays? I have no problem converting song formats. Easy stuff...I just need to know beforehand so I have an idea what to do.

  1. I think that you are confusing the process. You don't need to have the VPak in order to get music....If you have music on your computer, you can do what you have described, however, use the VCast Music Manager (which you can download from thier site for free) or Windows Media Player, use a USB, and SYNC the music to your phone. I am not so sure about drag and drop, some phones don't allow it.

THe $15 monthly subscription is for unlimited use & browsing of such applications as ringtone/ringback/music downloads, email, games, internet usage, etc. You don't need it to put music on your phone.
